83 Days to the Festival

So I’ve missed a Suffern Street Fair (or two) in my 12 years of residence. But it is with confidence that I will go out on a limb to say that I believe yesterday’s Fair was the BEST ever!

From the raving press in the Journal News to the crowds that lined Lafayette Avenue, the energy was different. Tremendous gratitude must go to the Chamber of Commerce leadership team headed by Aury Licata and to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. There were fresh vendors, more attractions and music was found around each corner. An excellent prequel to the Suffern Music+Arts Festival.

The Festival HQ at 34 Lafayette featured a live band the entire day. Thanks to Union County NJ’s own, Rainbow Fresh. They spent all day jamming to promote the Festival. They did it last minute, with sweet spirit and brought their family/friends along to give back while kicking back. Big thank you from me and all your new-found SMAF fans.

Appreciate everyone stopping by our booth outside HQ. We met hundreds of people and reconnected with neighbors.

Finally, I personally want to say ‘thanks’ to all my fellow SMAF-mates who spent hours promoting and spreading the good word. It’s a pleasure.
