85 Days to the Festival
On Friday evening, my husband and I can jump on the motorcycle to catch “plumgoneperhapsfar” - - - an installation by Joe Fusaro(joefusaro.com) at Garnerville’s GAGA. On Saturday morning, I can travel down to SoHo for the opening reception of contemporary, biblical artist and Nanuet resident, Ann Kim (annkimgallery.com) at the Broome Street Gallery. That’s the beauty of living in the NYC metro.
Artistry and culture is all within our reach. The Festival joins with other ardent fans to cultivate this accessibility for generations to come.
Institutions like GAGA at the Garnerville Arts and Industrial Complex are a local treasure. Under the leadership of Executive Director James Tyler and President Robin Rosenberg, GAGA offers artists a venue steeped in rugged, architectural history.
As for Ann Kim, she not only creates - - - she instructs. Her Rockland-based gallery is a haven for young artists to develop their voice using vibrant color and dimension. Her efforts extend worldwide through Ann Kim Biblical Arts Ministry and her touring exhibitions. Presently, Ann’s show via Crucis, via Lucis can be seen in NYC, France and South Korea.
Both GAGA and Ann Kim are participating the Suffern Music+Arts Festival. GAGA will be featured in our Artisan Garden. Ann Kim is a member of our art jury. Stop by and get to know them better.
